Σε πρόσφατο ειδικό livestream ο Geoff Keighley ανακοίνωσε τις φετινές υποψηφιότητες των “Oscars του Gaming”. Αναφερόμαστε φυσικά στα The Game Awards 2023, τα οποία θα διεξαχθούν φέτος στις 7 Δεκεμβρίου – 08 Δεκεμβρίου στις 02:30 τοπική, αν θέλεις να τα παρακολουθήσεις ζωντανά. Τα φετινά GoTΥ έχουν συνολικά 31 κατηγορίες και η ψηφοφορία του κοινού θα είναι ανοιχτή μέχρι τις 7 Δεκεμβρίου 04:00 (ώρα Ελλάδος), και μπορείς να συμμετέχεις ακολουθώντας αυτόν τον σύνδεσμό.
Τα Alan Wake 2 της Remedy και το Baldur’s Gate 3 της Larian Studios είναι τα δύο παιχνίδια που συγκέντρωσαν τις περισσότερες υποψηφιότητες, από 8 στο σύνολο, 7 υποψηφιότητες συγκέντρωσε το Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 της Insomniac Games, 6 υποψηφιότητες το Super Mario Bros. Wonder της Nintendo, ενώ από 5 υποψηφιότητες συγκέντρωσαν τα The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom και Hi-Fi Rush της Τango Gameworks.
Μάλιστα, για πρώτη φορά οι παίκτες του Fortnite θα έχουν τη δυνατότητα να ψηφίσουν για το Best Creator Made Fortnite Island of the Year. Συγκεκριμένα, το τελευταίο update του δημοφιλούς παιχνιδιού της Epic, έχει προσθέσει ένα hub world, στο οποίο οι παίκτες καταθέτουν τις ψήφους τους για το καλύτερο νησί της χρονιάς. Καθώς το εξερευνούν, μπορούν να ψηφίσουν μεταξύ 10 νησιών, να συλλέξουν αγάλματα των The Game Awards και να κερδίσουν επιπλέον XP.
